I know that I’m a lot more fortunate than many of you, to still be living with most of my loved ones, but I hope that you haven’t been out spreading the virus and getting yourself on the naughty list. Because, while I’m sure that we can all get up to some mischief, from time to time, that’s the kind which risks the lives of others. Not the fun kind that I’m looking to highlight with today’s product pair.
No, these scotch bonnet and fatalii sauces are simply labelled with a sweary pun on their dog-based branding. They aren’t hurting anyone.

Yo, what’s up people? It’s that time again and, this week, it’s another weird one. One of Saucey Lady’s specialist fruit blends:
And sure, it may call itself her “Moonlight Serenade” but there’s nothing as basic as the sweet seranade chilli in this sauce. Just take a look at that ingredients list:
pears, peppers, aji lemon, aji fantasy, habanero, lemon, white wine vinegar, sugar
Three different hot peppers, with a focus on citrussy and fruity baccatums to complement its use of pear for the first ingredient.
It’s not as wild as what we saw last week, of course, but I’ve tried the 📽️white ají fantasy📽️ before and it had a real pear sour candy vibe. So I have high hopes for how the yellow version is going to go with the real fruit.
Alright party people, it’s march and we’re kicking this month off with a bang!
Why? Because I’ve got Fiesta Fever:
Now this celebratory number is the third of my Saucey Lady freebies and, as a result, I am obligated to talk about it in a timely manner but I’m also genuinely excited to do so. Because, much like her Fireman’s Watch, this sauce uses some very british fruit that I’ve never seen in another chilli product.
Its first ingredient is gooseberry.
What’s up my fellow chilli lovers? This week, we’re looking at the fourth and final product that I picked up from Saucey Lady in reading.
It has the exact same label as her other three so, much as I find Kaz’ logo amusing, I won’t be talking about it again today. And nor, for that matter, will I be mentioning the bottles that you can buy it in, since they were also discussed previously.
This week’s post is going to be all about the flavour, texture, heat and aroma of the sauce inside. The bit that matters most.
So let’s get on with it, shall we?
Another tuesday, another spicy review, this time coming to us from Saucey Lady.
I’m not starting mild, either. I’m starting out with what might just be her very hottest. Her Midnight Mischief. The one I chose to get in her lovely little skull bottle.
Yet, as I mentioned in my overview, it can come in any of the many containers that she has to offer. I simply chose to put her fruity scorpion sauce in a bottle that looked as deadly as it sounded.
As you can see from my header image and in some of my videos, the bottle has a definite place on my display shelf but I won’t be saying much more about it this week. I’ll just flash you its rear and get on with the review.
