Single Habanero Jams

Three, two, one, let’s jam!

Today, I’ve got a jazzy little duo from Single Variety Co. – Makers of simple, straight-forward jams that use only a single fruit. Or, in this case, chilli.

In fact, our new, limited edition pair only have a single pepper between them – The habanero – and are intended to showcase the difference between two of its distinct strains. One made with the most common, orange variety and the other with the richer, darker and more earthy – Yet not in the least bit cocoa-y – “chocolate” colouration. A glossy brown version with rather more heat than most.

Apple & Mango

Hey there, everybody. It’s time for another review and, today, I’d like to try some more mango sauce. Given that I didn’t get my full fix, last week.

And, if the company hadn’t sent me a bottle, I’d definitely have had to buy one.

Why? You’re going to have to read on to find out.

Differently Dark

Feel like something fruity, my fellow fiery food fans? It certainly seems like I do lately.

To get my fix, I’m taking a look at another freebie from one of the most heavy fruit users I know. Daddy Cool’s.

But compared to other fruit-based sauces, this one’s different. It’s brown. Or, as he and his northern friends call it, “Broon”.
